Today installed on a 4000W generator. Quite easy. Connected to a 12V DC outlet. light it up Ran for a while and the counter clicked to 0.1 hour. Sweet. I ran a bit more and the counter showed 8.8.8.8.8. Shut down and restart the device. The reading returned to 0.1 hour. Worked for another 20 minutes and turned off.
