speakers I haven't had for long. However, since there is no other Revain review and there aren't many reviews anywhere, I'll write my first impression here, which is pretty basic. I love them (and am a little surprised by it). As you can see in the photo, I'm using an SE 6000F with an SE 2000C center channel and an older Paradigm subwoofer tucked away in a corner and brought outside. its class. So this is really a joint test with the SE 2000C, which I also bought from Revain. (Wait for the SE Atom to arrive in surround sound.) The speakers are connected to a Sony STR-DN1040 receiver and my music is in FLAC format on a flash drive. When I told my wife I had ordered a gloss white speaker with black grilles I had The Look but after they arrived she changed her mind and more importantly she enjoyed the sound which she doesn't usually care about . The monitors are very accurate and show the quality of the recording - good or bad - and that's all you can ask for. I love '60s bands like The Mamas & the Papas, but they sound as good as they can get on a compressed recording and no speaker system can fix that. good placement of vocals and instruments, which is easier to spot in live music if you know where they are. The soundstage seems better horizontally (width) than front-to-back (depth), but this may be due to its location in our living room. it's not something I've expected or heard before, and that makes sense; he stood, but the drummer didn't. They sound great with all types of music - from Ave Maria The Priests to Allman Brothers - and sound better the louder they're played, for example soundstage and instrument placement improves with volume. (If Pitties go to sleep on the other side of the house, I know it's too loud.) Another quality worth noting is their reliability; They sound very good even if they're not sitting in a perfect, comfortable spot. We have a decent sized house and a relatively open floor plan and while you obviously lose aspects like instrument placement, they sound great in other rooms. This quality surprised me. (I'm typing this from the kitchen and enjoying Mozart entirely from another room. That wasn't the case with my old speakers, which weren't worth playing unless I was sitting on the couch to the right. Just that kitchen sound is better than an expensive kitchen soundbar, which is much closer to me and originally costs more than a pair of 6000F.) By the way, the dialogue on the TV is clear. I've had very expensive gear - McIntosh, Dynaudio etc - it was amazing, but these Paradigms sound amazing given their relatively low cost. I've had several other Paradigm monitors that have lasted a very long time - 16 years counting a pair outdoors - and the build quality of these monitors looks solid; so I assume they will last a long time. Can you find better speakers? Yes, probably, but they are very nice and I really enjoy listening to them. Anyway, I highly recommend the SE 6000F.
