Review on Fintie Keyboard Lightweight Detachable Bluetooth Tablet Accessories and Keyboard Cases by Andrew Roberts

really? good for computers and accessories

I'm sorry to say that I didn't look at the products before buying them. The photos lead me to believe that the keyboard was integrated into the body and not a separate element (I obviously missed the last photo and others lol). That the keyboard is a separate piece makes it a complete hassle for me, even with magnets it never wants to stay in place during transport, even when I need a tablet in portrait mode the keyboard doesn't just fold over and stay on Spot where it needs to be taken off completely and set aside which can be a problem when traveling. Trying to type while holding it on your lap is also tedious (at least for me). For some reason the keyboard refuses to reconnect automatically when I turn it on, so I have to manually reconnect in the tablet's Bluetooth menu. After that it works fine. (Edit: Now that I've called it on Amazon it's started to reconnect automatically lol) While the keyboard itself seems to be very good as a standalone device, the scissor keys work really well and have a nice lightened sound too to confirm a press if you don't bite by typing like me lol. The keyboard sits securely on your desk, ideal if you type a lot. The keyboard has dedicated keys for home, email, search, copy, cut and paste, as well as an Internet Explorer key (anyone still use? IE in 2018?). On/off switch and a Bluetooth pairing button. Overall I would love this keyboard as a portable mini BT keyboard but not at all as a complement to a tablet case. As for the case itself, the plastic cold tablet dock works great and holds the tablet securely in place, as does the S Pen that comes with the Tab S4. . The case itself has a nice grainy finish on the outside to keep it from falling out of your hand while you're on the go, and the inside has a nice soft inner surface to rest your keyboard or palms on. Magnets that keep the keyboard in place during use. the keyboard is very comfortable in the hand, as well as a pleasant feeling when closing the carrying case. (Now if it holds the keyboard that well during transport it might be a good choice) Now for the not so good thing if you have the case open and the tablet flipped up when you press on the tablet (via the touchscreen) The case flexes a bit, which isn't too bad, but if you're "HULK SMASH!" like me and can't touch anything gently, the tablet can pop out without the keyboard and fold to keep it from pulling over. The three notches for holding the tablet do little to keep the tablet in place, the round plastic dock slides right over the small edge very easily when force is applied to the tablet. (see previous comments). Okay, most of the criticisms are minor compared to the fact that that damn keyboard isn't an integral part of the case, and that might be a bonus for some, but for me it makes me cringe and only spend the $150 that Samsung wants for their keyboard case, just to have a case that doesn't drive me to the wall. With all the good and bad, can I recommend a case to buy? Yes. If you can handle a separate keyboard, it's worth it. Especially if you want something for your tablet right now while waiting to buy a Samsung case or get one for Christmas. As I mentioned the keyboard is great but not great in the way they use it with a case.
