FINALLY! Sizing demystified! I bought one of each of this kind in each size. The kind with the ZIPPER runs TOO big. The kind with the more standard metal corset CLASPS runs just right. [1] ZIPPER-corset review: I first bought a LARGE in the zipper-kind bc of all the reviews. I'm normally a Medium (on occasion, I can wear small tops and large bottoms -- i'm 5'8" 140lbs, 36-28-39). I had to return it and buy a medium, return that, and FINALLY settle with the Small, which fits perfectly but STILL doesnt really provide any cinch. If they had a an XS, that would be perfect, since then I could actually tighten the corset. As it is, I can wear it for looks, but it's not gonna provide any cinching *AT ALL.* [2] CLASP-corset review: I bought a medium in this and it fits perfectly and provides some cinch. [3] Typically you're supposed to buy a corset that measures 4" narrower in the waist than your waist. I'm a 28" waist so I wear a 24" corset (and then the modesty panel (under the laces in the back) provides coverage for those other 4 inches while also allowing you to cinch).
