Plugged in, in a small space. (about 270 square meters) The smell was too strong. Remove the scented oil bottles from the heating pad and simply allow the oil to evaporate at normal room temperature. Now there's just the right amount of flavor. It should also last significantly longer, since the oil no longer heats up and evaporates more slowly.
