The brushes look exactly like the pictures and the bristles are.

The brushes look exactly like the pictures and the bristles are so SOFT. I love that it's a mix of synthetic and real hair/bristles. I've used them once and then washed the used ones and the bristles haven't fallen off - very nice. The last set of brushes I bought (can't remember where I got them) started shedding bristles almost immediately after the first wash. This is a fun and unique pen design! I'm very happy to have a full set of makeup brushes and I'm happy to be able to use them again!
