When I saw the price of this shaving gel I was very skeptical. When it arrived in a rather small toothpaste-sized tube, I was even more skeptical. Then I actually used it to shave and my skepticism vanished. It took me a quarter sized thin spoon to lather my entire round face. I'm not a big watermelon head or anything, but the skin at least covers the average grown man's face. I don't like electric shavers and always go back to a manual shaver. I use a Bic single blade disposable razor which has the sharpest blade of any razor I have ever used. My face looked like I had just come out of reconstructive surgery after using them for the first time and I quickly learned to be very, very careful. I get a lot of razor burns and bumps under my chin, plus I always have to dry shave to get rid of stubborn stubble. I've used many products including Nivea for Men, Barbasol (an old marine favourite) and other intermediates without much success. That's great. Not only do I have no razor burn or bumps, I get an incredibly close shave that meets my exacting standards. I don't shave every day anymore so this product lasts a long time - the price doesn't matter as the comfort and quality of my shave is as good as it gets. I feel particularly clean on my face. great stuff
