I bought this 3 pocket bag for my Acer 15.6" laptop. Unlike the backpack I ordered which is advertised as the right size for my laptop, THIS case fits my laptop very well The pockets on the side don't hold much, cables, other compact electronics, a small pad of paper and, yes, a basic mouse, which is good for this case size and creates a bit of an uncomfortable bulk, but it works.I'm glad they put a divider in the main compartment because instead of storing my cables in my pockets, I have a 9"x7.5 cable organizer and none of the 3 pockets won't fit - along with the mouse it goes to the main compartment. So for me personally, outside pockets are not very important. Love where the handle fits and the whole bag feels very solid. It's great quality and I plan to put it through its paces. As long as it does its job I'll leave it with a 5 star rating.
