They're too bulky and difficult to avoid without irritating your eyes. I've replaced it with these, which are better in every way. You can adjust the height and allow the cables to rise in and out of the top without sacrificing the flexibility of the channel to stay closed. On top of that, the material is a very smooth plastic that's nicely rounded on all edges, so it never gets stuck on your cables or velcro straps. I highly recommend you try them first before buying the more expensive and bulky metal ducts.
