A good choice in a world with few options

It's not easy to buy headphones. You have nothing to choose from. They don't have a lot of choices on what's modern and hopefully something you use and are comfortable with. I was delighted to find the opportunity and even opportunity to get hold of this interesting over-ear speaker as I've been video conferencing and internet calling my days since the pandemic started. I've been using it almost exclusively for probably 6 weeks. And I still end up pulling it out every once in a while, but it has its pros and cons, at least from my perspective for my personal use and taste. I'll start with the negative from my personal experience, the most notable thing for me is that the ear starts to hurt after two or three hours of continuous use. Even wearing them in the ear with the one photo they show you here on the Revain page of how they should sit over the ear will never feel comfortable or at least natural in my view. As for the other downsides, I would just say that there really isn't much privacy when the person is sitting next to you due to the way the sound travels around your ear. It's more like a little speaker outside your ear that other people can hear depending on the volume you want, or sometimes louder volumes because some people speak so loud! , it's a really great option as everything else you'll find is probably some sort of in-ear headphone product. I don't know many others that even come close to this style or function. There's a very good chance that it's perfect for your needs and deserves your attention at the current price point, even if you decide you don't like it. I mean come on, it barely costs as much as a cheeseburger! The sound quality is actually good enough for phone calls and conferences. It doesn't look too clunky either, and when I use it for video calls, I rarely get asked about it. And in my experience with the computers I've used it with, it's loud enough and the sound is rich and clear. You might want a 3.5mm cable extension so you can move around a bit if like me you like to stand up, talk and walk around your desk a bit. I recommend this device as an option and am glad I have it and still take it out from time to time. The other styles I use are headphones and every once in a while I just need something different and that will definitely be used in the future!
