These patches are very sticky, especially when removed from the base with a fingernail or tweezers. Be sure to wash and dry my face thoroughly before applying. I usually do this at night and leave the patch on overnight because I've found myself touching it a lot during the day. Even when I sleep, these band-aids don't come off. What I've learned from using these patches is that when a pimple forms and turns red, it actually causes the pimple to form overnight. I had a pimple that didn't show up for a few days but when these patches showed up I put them on right away. The next morning there was a white head, and it's nowhere near coming, but eventually it happened with those patches. Another thing I learned with these band-aids is that when you break a pimple, I stop the bleeding and then put this band-aid on it. It was almost completely healed within 2 days. No ugly scabs or scars. I don't know what or how they work exactly, but I love them! I even started getting my teens to use them when they break out and they work for them too.
