Better than the original
I am more comfortable with this product on a tripod than the original which I had to add a Swiss Arca plate to to make it work. From time to time I noticed that my Swiss plate bow was loose, so I immediately looked for an alternative. My research led me to this product and so far so good. I use it on my expensive Sony 200-600mm lens so I had to make sure the product was longer and stronger than the original. I would buy it again anytime but I don't think I will need it.
