Edit: The aux port broke in less than 30 days when my cat literally walked right past it. I don't recommend if you want to use an extra cable. I bought this speaker for a desktop PC that I didn't have speakers for. I thought the soundbar would fit perfectly on the table and look good, and I was right. For me the bluetooth speaker and battery pack are a plus as I really only want to use them as a wired AUX speaker for my desktop so I'm checking it out as such. To turn it on you have to turn the knob on the side, which I didn't realize at first. In fact, the design is so sleek that I didn't even notice the handle on the side at first. I connected it via USB for charging/charging and connected to a PC via an AUX cable. It works great with no issues and is comparable to a TV speaker. I do not agree with the marketing materials trying to push the "bass" feature of this soundbar. It doesn't really have good bass. I expected that and just wanted a basic speaker that would work, which this one does, but it annoys me that marketers go out of their way to make bass claims at all. I love all the additional Bluetooth features and even the fact that you can take calls with it. I can try when I'm taking a bath or in the garden. But then again, that's not my main use, and it's fine, just as a desktop speaker. The remote works but has a lot of buttons which I think are for MP3 playback where you can insert a small flash card so the number of buttons is a bit confusing.
