It was a great purchase. I bought this comforter after falling ill recently and it has been an amazing source of comfort. It feels incredibly soft on both sides and after a few months overnight it's still as soft as it was originally. To be honest I didn't find the temperature control and timer important and only went for it because there are a few pricier duvets without these features, but that turned out to be a great deal. Although I tend to use it on the highest setting (I hate the cold) I was surprised at how many times I adjusted the temperature as this blanket can get hot. Even when I'm taking a quick nap or taking a break, I like that it heats up quickly and evenly. The timer really allows me to set it and forget it, which may seem like a small thing, but for reckless people like me it's very valuable. I bought this duvet when it was on sale which made it even more affordable and I think it's a great value product.
