UPDATE: I've had it less than 4 months and now it's fogging up. This is easily fixed with a splash of water but still not what I was hoping for or had to deal with. It seems to stay fog free longer than a normal mirror after a splash, but I didn't have to do that in the first place. END OF UPDATE. Didn't use the suction cup if it came with it, or any other "gear", I already have a hook in the shower so I just hung it on a string. I also added a small square of velcro at the top and bottom to hold it in place. I've never had a problem with it fogging up and you don't have to run it over hot water or fill the reservoir first. Just hang it up and you're done. I like the size too. You don't have to get too close just to see what you're doing. I use it while shaving my face. I'm glad I bought it.
