Product design changed

First purchase exactly 18 months ago! It took a bit of fiddling but held up well until the tip of the stem broke. The new one is essentially the same concept, but design aspects have changed. I hope that these changes are the result of research and development of the product and not changes to reduce manufacturing costs. The time will show! This new one takes a bit of getting used to as the button to release the side rollers is now on the top of the slide instead of the bottom. and doesn't seem to have the same range of flexibility.
