I am constantly on the lookout for the perfect EDC including wallet and keychain. While perfection may never be reached (and maybe hunting is part of the fun), this wallet protector comes pretty close. Although the wallet is very thin, it is durable and doesn't flex like you might expect. As already mentioned, the sliding lever is made of plastic. It is possible, of course, from metal, but it will be more expensive. I have no idea if it will last, but so far people like it even after years of use, so I'm optimistic. It would be nice if the mechanism that pushes the cards up could also push the cards down, but you have to manually push the cards down. Not a big deal, but would have made it more elegant. Only suitable for cards (NOT business cards, subway cards and cash), only ID cards, bank cards, anything with small thickness. Mine works very well for 3 normal and 2 bump maps. Not too tight and not too loose. Of course you can hold less and the cards won't come out. But you can't put more. The blue color is nice but I'm afraid it might get scratched. So I keep my phone in another pocket and my keys in my back pocket. Knowing it only held 5/6 cards at best, I needed a solution for some extra cards and some cash. I really didn't like the other options it was paired with - a card pusher or a leather wallet. I didn't like the plastic card slider and the leather detailing adds too much thickness and ruins its elegance. So I improvised. I also bought a cardninja, which is one of those wallet cases that you slip on the back of your phone, but instead of putting it on the phone I attached it to the back of this wallet. Fits perfectly! Now I have a few cards, a working RFID card and some cash. And I can just touch the back with my work ID because it's in the cardninja, not in the wallet. The profile is still very thin and there is very, very little excess material. So far I like this setup.
