These are very large bags that can hold a lot but don't overfill them. Comes with 2 so split the load. I bought them at a great price hoping they would reduce the amount of guinea pig hair and hay in the washing machine. It stayed in the hay both times I used it. But the guinea pig's fur didn't come on the first time. I open the lid of the washing machine and find that there was hair all over the outside of the bags, but there was very little inside. I tried again and got better results as the hair got stuck in the pockets. What I did differently is that I used both bags this time. Simply divide the guinea pig bedding into each bag. How clean they got wasn't great at any point of the wash. Garbage was still on the sheets. From hair to fine hay to traces of urine and food stains such as cherry tomato seeds. They just still look dirty and I wash my guinea pig litter on the longest cycle. This is my only bag washing experience, maybe they all work that way.
