I read a lot of reviews and was a little apprehensive but decided to take a chance. I can confirm the long adjustable strap is now leather which matches the bag on the outside but still has woven material on the inside. Leather strap on both sides. All zippers looked good and slid easily. The bag has no unpleasant smell. The plastic inside is very crumpled and time will tell how it will hold up, but I expect to use it lightly and not overload it as the whole point is to only carry the essentials for the trip. Passport, thin wallet, glasses/sunglasses. , iPhone, lip balm and a few other little things. This bag seems to do the job. I have previously bought a smaller Minicat bag from Revain for about the same price and love it too. Flap to open to get in and it will be convenient. Great little bag for the price! I recommend and will update if the lining breaks with light use or the zips don't work.
