Review on Adapter Charger ADP 65JH EXA0703YH ADP 65GD by Amanda Smith

Revainrating 5 out of 5

He charges his laptop.

19V No Name Laptop Charger Made in China. The documentation that came with my laptop states that the output voltage of the charger should not vary by more than + or - 5% from the rated input voltage stated. The performance I received during the test showed that it stays within this range. I didn't notice any overloads when connecting the charger. Either at idle or at part load. This is a desirable trait. From a load of around 10.5 W, the efficiency is decent. After running the charger at around 36W for 10 minutes, it felt quite warm but wouldn't turn off. Another 30 minute run didn't seem to result in a further rise in temperature. Like all AC powered chargers of this design, IE: no ventilation other than convection, how hot it gets depends on efficiency. With an output power of 48,641 watts, the charger draws 58 watts from the mains. That extra 10,641 watts is dissipated as heat. And any internal heat must escape from the airtight plastic enclosure. Overall not a bad device for the price.
