Review on Headphones JBL T205, chrome by Felicja Sawicka ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Practical product, nothing to complain about.

I do so anywhere, including on a mobile device when out in public and while watching television in my own house. The pull on the connector that goes back and forth is constant. Even if there are cracks in it, it won't break. I keep large closed headphones on hand for when I want to listen to high-quality sound from my home audio system. These headphones offer an almost ideal balance of sound quality, price, and invisibility when worn on the head. Due to the fact that I stroll around town while it's dark, I decided to purchase a model that is specifically black. The previous copy was white, and he gave it to his wife (she doesn't care about color). He listens to it on an old iPhone (there were the same ones in the kit), and he claims that the sound is not significantly worse. In regards to the bass being "juicy," I would have to disagree; yet, the bass sound is noticeably more intriguing than that of several models that are similarly priced, including top brands. I enjoy the mix of highs and mids. When it comes to bass, purists are definitely better off purchasing earplugs or wraparound headphones for the same money (but that's an entirely separate topic). Image taken from - Photos, not mine. But, they are identical to the ones I have.

Pros
  • I like earbuds, not earplugs, to hear both music in good quality and ambient sounds on the street. A satisfying middle ground. The sound quality is above average, in my opinion, especially considering the price, which was $1650 for the black model when I purchased it in April 2022. The cable is of high quality (judging by the previous copy, which is already 3 years old, it works without problems). The sound travels from the computer, through the headphone output, without the need for an adaptor (some "triple" plugs from headsets for smartphones and computer audio connectors for some reason do not want to "be friends", here is the order).
Cons
  • It ended up being somewhat costly. Subjectively. But next time I'll try to look for something else in this sound quality and form factor (ear-drops) (but I'll have to wait, apparently, for a long time, since the headphones are unkillable).
