I've been using the Uprite Ergo Sit2Stand Workstation for a little over a month. If I could give a fraction of a star, my overall rating for the product would be 4.5 stars, but excellent customer service made it easy for me to round the overall rating to 5.0 stars. Assembly and Set-up Set-up was relatively easy, as some shipping/packing materials are duplicated to aid in assembly; It took me about 20 minutes total to put it together, set it on my desk and play around with different monitor placements. Daily use - lowest position After all the adjustments, the lowest position allows the device to be almost invisible on my desk. The height adjustment range of the monitor is more than adequate for the height of my seat as my monitor takes up almost half of the available vertical space for slides. I still have 8.5 inches left vertically if I need to raise the monitor; While I don't expect to have to do that, it's nice to have that kind of flexibility (just in case I ever lend/give this to a larger person, for example). The supplied monitor mount can also be rotated to the left/right, but without tilting. I purchased an additional monitor mount separately, which also has a tilt function. The keyboard tray hovers 1/4 inch above my desk. Foam foot pads were included to fit the underside of the keyboard tray, but I found them to be too tall. I simply replaced the included keyboard tray legs with the felt pads I had on hand as they were more at the right height to eliminate this sagging. It has enough space (left/right and front/back) for a full-size keyboard and mouse, plus an extra item or two (like reading glasses). The work surface is a nice touch. It's not a lot of space (about half the width of the keyboard tray), but it's really helpful for my phones to hold in front of me so I can look straight at my monitor (i.e. better posture). It slides in and out easily so I can adjust the distance to my phone's mic while I'm on the call. Daily Use - Raised Position The entire unit is easily raised with a lever on the right hand side behind the work surface; While you can only lift the device by holding the lever with your right hand, I tend to balance the top of the device with my left hand as well. The position of the monitor relative to the keyboard tray is fixed by your setup in the lowered position. Without this monitor tilt feature, I would place the entire unit in a position where I can easily see the monitor, elevating the keyboard an inch or two higher than I prefer. Add a tilt mount and I can better adjust the height of the keyboard to where I want it while tilting the monitor up a bit, since this preferred keyboard-to-monitor distance varies between sitting and standing for me. Again, I have enough overall height considering I'm 5ft 9in and there is room (i.e. greater accessibility) after raising the top of the monitor to eye level. There are still a few centimeters left to lift the whole block. plus the 8.5 inches I mentioned in connection with the monitor mount height adjustment. The keyboard tray (and monitor) shake a bit when typing, which also means the device isn't supported. I was a little bored at first, but since then I've learned not to type that much; I am sure that my office colleague appreciates this added value. Even with my relaxed typing, there's still a bit of movement, but now that I've gotten used to it, it's not as tiring. However, I've found that I'm better off using the elevated position when I read more and/or use the mouse rather than typing. That. I still spend most of my working hours sitting down each day, but the simplicity and functionality of this device allows me to take standing "breaks" while I still get some work done. I work in an elevated position maybe twice a day and average 15-30 minutes per iteration. I love that I can get up and still be productive instead of getting up and walking away from my desk. I would recommend this device, although I have to admit it's not for everyone. If you have a major discrepancy in the monitor position relative to the keyboard tray, this monitor mount tilt feature is highly needed. If you type a lot and don't expect that to ever change, the standing position will certainly be a lot less productive for you. If you are looking for breaks from sitting and can turn down the typing intensity/volume a bit, this device is probably just the right thing for me, just like it was for me.
