Review on πŸ§” Brickell Men's Beard Oil: Natural, Organic Argan & Jojoba Oil for Strengthening and Softening Hair, 1 Ounce, Scented by Anita Davis

Makes the beard easier to comb

I have a somewhat long beard (about collarbone length), very thick and wavy. It's high maintenance so I used A LOT of oil/beard products. I'd rather put that up. It smelled pretty strongly of lavender essential oil in a bottle, but as soon as I smeared it on my beard, it quickly turned into a tea tree scent. Very natural, very earthy. If you've ever used other Brickell products you know what I'm talking about. The scent wasn't my favorite, but it dissipates pretty quickly in the beard, which I like. The consistency is thicker than what I've used. It is dense and does not feel watery, which experience has shown indicates the high quality of the base oils. As far as performance goes, it performed surprisingly well. I have to blow dry my beard every day and brush it with a heated brush to combat its crazy waves. It kept frizzy hair at bay, probably better than any other oil I've used. I usually use an after-oil balm for this, but that's not so necessary here. In terms of softness I would say it's in my top 2. It's soft and smooth, but not as soft as mine. But it has better control and thickening effects, so it's not a bad compromise. The price is on the higher end of what I'm willing to pay, but again, it has really quality ingredients. I have learned that you definitely get what you pay for when using beard oils. He recommends 2-3 drops, but I at least double that. But that's okay with me. With my beard thickness and the use of heat, it takes more to properly moisturize. I noticed it's 1 oz, but the bottle is noticeably smaller (height and diameter) than the 2 other beard oils I have that are 1 oz tinctures. That's not to say they don't all use 1 ounce of liquid, it just surprised me.
