I love washing my face with this GENTLE CLEANER. There were several reviews about the different color and smell; Obagi has another cleanser, a pink FOAMING GEL with a light floral scent that I accidentally ordered and my face didn't respond well to cleansing. When I took a closer look, I realized I had ordered the wrong product. I had no problems with authentication.
