Our family has a lot of fun with this course. The step-by-step printed instructions for this item were simple and straightforward. It was helpful to know that it would likely take several tries to loosen and tighten the strap to get all the brackets parallel. A ladder is used to install protective felt tape around the tree and then a strap with "belt loops" for the sling. The straps are designed for regular sized trees 1-3 feet in diameter. Our trees are slightly larger, about 5 feet in diameter, and the straps don't fit. The instructions describe this scenario and indicate that the straps can simply be snapped together and, if more is needed, the email can be reset. The customer service rep (Mike) was incredibly quick to respond to my email and photo and sent 2 additional straps the same day. I completed the setup and tested it at my adult weight before letting the kids try it out. The ratchet straps secure everything securely and the strap didn't move. We had so much fun that we kept adding more and more things to change the course. We now have a 31 foot obstacle course with rings, rungs, rope ladder and trapeze. It's good backyard fun.
