Review on Logitech G305 Lightspeed: The Ultimate Wireless Gaming Mouse by Amit Kumar ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Good value for money, I recommend it.

Before buying, I was afraid that a larger enlarged size would not be convenient (compared to the m325, which I used for many years), but there is not much difference, the mouse is comfortable in my hand. It glides very cool, maybe because it is new, but it is felt immediately. I don’t know what the increased accuracy is connected with, either with this predictable sliding, or with a higher sensitivity of the sensor, but I immediately began to more accurately hit all the small elements in the interfaces with the cursor. This was not the case with the previous M325, it often missed, and if it was necessary to select something very small or move the cursor a few pixels, it was difficult, the cursor did not react at first, and then immediately flew over, which is why I decided to buy a new one mouse. It is not defined in setpoint, now only the keyboard remains there. I had to install a rather heavy gaming software application, of the useful functions there is only a sensitivity setting (I set 1600 as the base value, I assigned a shift to it (whatever that means)) and reassigning the functions of additional buttons. Everything is fine, except for the lack of a rocking wheel, because of this, the mouse does not reach the ideal, but I did not find analogues in Logitech.

Pros
  • Comfortable, accurate, lightweight, wireless.
Cons
  • There is no oscillating wheel, as on the m325. The functions of changing the volume fit very well on it. Perhaps a little expensive, after all, almost three thousand per mouse, which, according to my feelings, is already somewhere on the borderline of acceptability, given that I hardly play and the mouse was bought exclusively for work.

The mouse itself is quite small, there are no rubber inserts on the sides, but this does not interfere. Even if your hands sweat, the mouse will not fall out
