When he arrived he noticed that the "compass" was useless - the capsule was half filled with air and there was NO arrow rotation. After three refueling attempts, I managed to fill the lighter with a small amount of propane. Surrounding the fill tube, the flame adjuster is made of very soft plastic that fell apart when I tried to adjust it. The "O-ring" that is supposed to keep the device waterproof is a terrible flaw as ANY contact with water renders the lighter unusable. I ended up dropping the lighter onto the wooden floor from about four feet and it broke into three pieces.
