Four bottles come with a funnel which is necessary because the holes are very small. Everyone has a sprinkler. They are intended for installation in a closed plastic container with a lever on the lid. The bottles can be rotated within the container so that the arm is positioned over the top of each bottle. By depressing the lever, the bottle sprays liquid through an open slot in the side of the container. Thoughtful, but the reservoir adds volume, and if the bottles aren't set correctly, depressing the lever will cause the contents to squirt into the reservoir rather than through the slot. Plastic bottles, in my opinion, are more convenient to remove from the container and use separately. I've also found that the spray mechanism tends to clog when the bottles are filled with thick liquids like body lotion and some shampoos.
