Definitely high quality silk 19 Mami. I noticed my hair got a lot less breakage and felt a lot healthier after using it. I'm a restless sleeper who tosses and turns a lot at night, which puts a lot of stress on the hair cuticle. Since I've been sleeping on my side, I've also noticed that the side of my face lying on the pillow is noticeably softer after a while. Silk does not wick moisture away from the skin like cotton does. I haven't washed the material yet so I hope it holds up well. Make sure to wash your pillowcases once a week or every two weeks to avoid pimples. It's definitely hand wash only. It creases a little, but it's all silk and I don't mind. All in all I would definitely recommend it. I've already convinced my friend to buy one.
