I bought this for my Samsung NVME 970 Evo Plus after it hit 85°C during performance test. Set this up at slightly higher ambient temperatures and this heatsink dropped that to 64C. The image below shows the top values. I used metal clips which fit well. The way I attached them was to lay them out on the sides of the hs, position them where I wanted them and then insert the clips in and over the outer fins. They will be inserted immediately. It wasn't a good idea to put it on as it could scratch the bottom of the disc. I also put this on a WD Black SN750 but it wasn't there until now. It runs at the same temperatures as Samsung, but only has one temperature sensor, which appears to be the same type as Samsung's first reading. I would definitely recommend them as an easy way to bring down those crazy NVME temperatures and potentially extend drive life.
