The shape/size of the mouse is VERY individual and subjective, but I find the G403/703 to be perfect for me. I add an extra 10g of weight because I like my mice to be a bit heavier. I used to use Wireless G403 and G703 (not Hero). The original G703 was *almost* perfect, but the battery life was really short. At best I get 20 hours of use before it needs to be charged. I can consistently work 30-35 hours with the new version of Hero, which is quite a big improvement. Software note: I used to use the old Logitech Gaming Software to control my non-Hero G513 and G703, but apparently the new G703 Hero isn't supported or recognized by the old software, so I had to switch to the newer Logitech GHub software switch software. There were some issues with the lighting effects not working properly initially when I switched software. I had to completely uninstall both the old LGS software and the Ghub software, reboot, then reinstall the GHUB software and everything works great now. Check out the mouse for yourself, what is the remaining battery charge, can the LED indicator?
