came in a box. The belt is dark brown, the leather is thick, nice fine grain, the large belt is silver. I wanted to listen to others. I ordered a 38 inch belt (34 waist today) and it fits the last hole. We recommend ordering 2 inches larger than your waist. The box includes an extra screw and drill bolt. Save them just in case. I would recommend this belt, but can't yet say how well the leather will hold up to frequent use. The skin around the holes is slightly grooved, not smooth. I can't see it unless you're so close you have to buy me a drink. The seller warns that the skin will have natural flaws. I ordered a second strap so obviously I think the strap is good. My complaint 1 is that the belt is poorly tanned. At the natural curves of the belt around the buckle, the skin will tear (maybe not the right word) and the lighter natural leather will show through. It doesn't matter, but the best belts don't. Also, the bottom of the belt isn't tanned, which makes me wonder how they dye/tan the belts. It's been a few months and the tan just won't last. These look worn out. Too bad because the skin is good. You might want to look elsewhere.
