I have a Siamese cat so I wasn't looking for a 6ft luxury tower with all the bells and whistles. This tower seemed a great fit as it was just the right height for the top perch which was just below the skylight on my top floor so my cat could sit and sunbathe while she figured out chasing after those pesky birds could bring outside! Today I received the tower and immediately started assembling it. The instructions were clear and included some basic hand tools to assemble the turret out of the box. All support beams, perches and bases are marked with numbered stickers. However, when I got to the final step of attaching the top perch, I found that one of the support beams was too short to reach the base. She was about 1.5 cm smaller (see photos). My first guess was that I accidentally swapped one of the posts, so I took the tower apart and reassembled it from scratch. Base, screw and post were all in place. I got the same results: the support post with the hammock was a bit short. So either the P2 post or the P5 post is short. handy for my cat, I didn't pay half a tower so he's going back to the factory. The real pain is in all the time it took to assemble and disassemble, fully rebuild and then disassemble the pack again, sending everything back and sending it back to the manufacturer. I do not recommend this product, especially since the manufacturer asks that you are only allowed to use kittens on the product.
