An effective way to test gummies

Our son is 2.5 years old and has developed a chewing habit. So our occupational therapist suggested chewing gum to help redirect that energy. We bought a few different GNAWRISHING combo kits hoping to find something that works. He immediately picked up the Lego bricks. He often chews on it while rubbing the bottom of the block. Unfortunately he's too small to use them as a necklace - they hang very low on him (should fit older children) and he's always annoyed with something around his neck or head, but the clasps feel really hard. To do that, you have to really want to open them, which is way better than some of the other kid-friendly items we've used. In reality, however, we actually cut the necklace off, as we often noticed him chewing on the rope or clasp when left alone. This can be a problem for anyone with young children. It generally doesn't accept shark teeth or tokens, so they're still mostly intact for future use. I think the combo pack is definitely the way to go until you find what you like best. We've had them for a few weeks now and haven't noticed any deterioration or damage (other than the strings) so they're holding up pretty well. I'm sure a bigger kid would have dealt with it a little quicker.
