When I saw this product and read the reviews I was very happy to receive mine. Not what I expected. It didn't get hot and I set it to the highest temperature and it didn't squeeze my hair so hard that my hair slipped out. I'm not sure if you need wavy or curly hair for this to work, but I have straight, thin hair. The only positive thing I can say is that it was very easy.
