I needed an extra charger for my HP laptop because I move it between two rooms and want to leave the charger in each place instead of plugging it in and carrying it with yours computers every time. Trying to decipher model and product numbers is such a mess that they either don't exist or are just a hodgepodge of numbers on everything but the ones that really mean something to the end user. It really started when everything started coming out of China. I searched and searched and finally decided to take a risk by choosing this charger and it was a very good choice. Exactly what I needed and I would buy again.
