Review on Red Peugeot Paris u'Select 9-Inch Pepper Mill by Sheila Harp

Ordered to replace the same item (bought from a major kitchen retailer a few years ago) which worked great for years until it fell too many times on the hard floor under the table and was damaged beyond repair. This barely works, producing salt roughly the consistency of powdered sugar no matter where the dial is set. I have used 5 or 6 different types of salt including those recommended by other customers with no success. (The original worked fine with regular coarse grocery store salt.) I also ordered a pepper grinder and it seems to work fine, but I doubt it's a genuine Peugeot grinder. If I hadn't experimented with different types of salt for months I would have returned it.
