Weak adhesive in security tape
This tape is sturdy and appears to be of good quality but unfortunately does not stick well to flat smooth painted surfaces. The ends tend to unravel. They don't fold, they actually bend away from the surface at the ends. Perhaps due to the curvature of the roll and insufficiently strong glue.
