My wife wrote: This is the second silk pillowcase I have bought. The first was from a different brand and it was a very good silk, it had a zipper that broke on the first try to use it. After reading the reviews of many different silk pillows, I realized that this is a common problem: the side zipper doesn't reach to the corners of the pillow, so the zipper can easily break when the pillow is laid off due to the design. Then I tried this pillow because it has an envelope hole and I'm so happy I did! The pillow is easy to remove and replace and the pillow stays inside. It feels like real silk and has made a huge impact on my curly hair as it helps prevent tangles while I sleep. I wash it as directed, I wash very gently in a bowl with a small amount of detergent. I squeeze it dry with a towel and hang it to air dry. It's a bit more work than using the washing machine, but it's an expensive pillowcase and worth caring for. Get rid of the headache of side zippered pillowcases that are about to crack! Definitely recommend this envelope style!
