I bought this item based on all information provided by the manufacturer. Everything is absolutely correct. Bought X-Large in tan for my 6 month old kitten. My decision was based on giving her more space as she continues to grow. And also so she could sleep stretched out if she wanted to (and she does). This is the only bed she accepted, had to return 2 different ones. Aside from looking good, it's really plush, super soft, comfortable and really doesn't fall off like other cat and puppy houses.
