I really like this because of the pattern - it looks quite magical, but if you look closely there are various cute animals on it, such as rabbits and cats. It also has stars and crosses in gold, and it says "Find your magic" here and there. I also like that small locks are built in. If you combine it, you can use it as a cape or cape, although it is not big enough to wear a big plus like me. I am size 3x and when I wear it it basically covers my back, head and shoulders/arms. I mostly use it as a blanket when I lie down. The hood is attached or removed. I have used the hood to provide shelter for a tiny 3 week old kitten - it has been washed several times and is holding up very well and was excellent at helping me keep warm when it most needed it. Now it's clean and back in use as a hood and its wear and tear hasn't deteriorated one bit. This is a very cat friendly fabric. It's soft and plush, and I've found my kitties love kneading dough on it, so I have one that just marches in place and drools. I often find one of them sleeping on them if I leave them on the couch. I like that the little latches are tiny plastic and don't get in the way at all if you decide to use it as a blanket. Put together, however, they result in spacious sleeves, even for large hands, and a nice, voluminous hood.
