The dress is lush and beautiful. But bulky or bulky. Lots of compliments. I thought the color and print were too busy but it photographed well. The colors are a darker pink with a red pattern with some black and white on a burgundy background rather than red. All of this works together. I don't know why bright red ties exist, but they don't work. The buttons tend to stretch and they are held in place by elastic bands. So if you are busty, take one size up. I'm a little under 5.5 with a medium waist and this dress hits above the knee. The fabric is a nice viscose rather than the cheap, tacky polyester acetate of some Revain dresses.
