Review on Digital Weight Scale - Tanita HD-351 by Maria Taglienti

I've spent a lot of time deciding which scale to order. I'm a runner and I'm constantly trying to lose weight to set my personal records in the 5K and 10K. To do this, I'm trying to gradually reduce the working weight, which will help me reduce the number of seconds on my personal record. Anyway, this scale from Tanita won me over because I read a lot of reviews on reputable sites about how accurate these scales are but maybe more importantly how accurate they are. Here's what I like about this scale: PROS: 1) Super accurate and precise 2) Very nice white color and design (it was more important to my wife than me) 3) Made by a manufacturer with a good reputation I don't like it but I can live with that :CON1) All weight measurements are recorded (there is no way to weigh yourself and not write it down - this would be useful for people who don't want the next person to step on the scale knowing how much they weigh) I've been using this scale for the past 2 weeks and I can say it's in place. My old scale was just terrible; it was everywhere. The lack of accurate weights can severely undermine your motivation, especially if you work hard and watch your diet. This scale is always correct. For example, if I drink a lot of water or go to the bathroom, the scale adjusts accordingly, changing in 0.2 pound increments. I almost ordered the EatSmart Digital Precision Scale because it was cheaper and had a lot of positive reviews. What finally made me order this scale was the reputation of the manufacturer (Tanita). Since Tanita makes commercial scales in doctors' offices, I thought the scale's accuracy was worth the extra money. I almost went broke and bought a 349KLX 2 piece health o meter scale but figured our little fella would probably damage the piece attached and break it. This scale was right in the middle of these two scales for the price and I am very, very happy with the purchase.
