The color and sense of opulence are soothing. It really helps with my anxiety and when I get migraines. I bought a 7 pound knee size because that's the max I can carry with two hands. It feels heavy when I'm carrying it and too light when I put it on my lap. To increase or decrease the weight on my knees, I fold or unfold it. My cat weighs 11 pounds and I can feel that weight when I lie under her. The zipper is fragile but I haven't had any problems with it yet because I'm VERY careful with it based on other reviews. I AM IN LOVE! strings in! I wish my duvet cover was like this. I washed and dried both covers in cold water on the gentle cycle, there were no spools. Highly recommended.
