I know how to crochet, knit and machine knit. I am satisfied with the quality of this blanket. Most likely, this is machine knitting, but it is dense, without defects and of high quality. There was only one extra thread and it came from the clasp at the bottom, which wasn't a problem. It's soft, stretchy and warm. It is easy to wash and dry, and becomes even softer after washing. The size is perfect for different ages. My 5 year old son used this blanket while I was fixing the blanket and it was comfortable but he said it wasn't the same as the one I made him. He's still using it, as is my baby. I think it will be a good gift or present for a child. This is an attractive and well made blanket.
