I am pleased to report that my new iPhone XS Max survived its first and only fall without a single crash. Even the hull showed no signs of collapse. Would you do the same in other cases? Possibly, but the two cases I tried before purchasing the Otterbox didn't allow me to wirelessly charge my phone. Was it Otterbox's fault that I lost my hands on my phone and it fell on the floor? nope The culprit is carrying too many things at once. The surface of the Otterbox is structured and feels solid in the hand. I carry my phone in my jacket pocket, which is sometimes not the cleanest environment. The case doesn't seem to pick up dirt or smudges, which is likely due to the material used being a bit stiffer than flexible. All in all, I'm glad I spent a little more money to get a really well designed and durable iPhone case.
