I just bought an iPhone 12. I've always liked wired headphones for a number of reasons. I've found great non-Apple wired headphones in the past and have always bought them from Amazon. These headphones are CHEAP quality and I will not use them. My wife has Apple wired headphones and we compared them for sound and microphone quality. I'm not too picky but the difference was amazing. I will never use them. Just a note, when I plug them in, they automatically connect to a command prompt and then have a separate "lightning bolt" sound icon where bluetooth would normally be. ---- I know that's a terrible explanation, but the point is that things are different when you're using Apple's wired pods. With Apple, you just connect and they work exactly like I've seen on every other iPhone. I immediately ordered the $16 Apple product.
