smell later - despite reviews from others about the strong chemical smell of this ottoman, I decided to buy it. Color, size and price were exactly what I had in mind. I also assumed the smell would go away with fresh air and time. When I opened the package, the unpleasant chemical smell was even stronger than I imagined. After being outside for a few days and then airing out my house for *two months*, the noxious odor coming from inside the box is still there. So it stands open, empty and smells of chemicals. Pros: Soft light green micro suede is beautiful. Workmanship and details are better than I expected for this price. Disadvantages: chemical smell that does not go away even after several months of airing.
