For the price this case is truly unbelievable, and I have no problem recommending it to any iphone owner out there.This is the case if you're looking for something a little tougher than the cheapo cases out there, but not quite as burly as a defender or lifeproof. (and honestly the company making those has gone downhill lately.) This case keeps your phone extremely slim and the clear version lets your phone shine through :)Details are as described - corners and sides are soft-ish TPU for shock absorption, while the back is a hard clear plastic. Comes with a screen protector that seems nice enough. There is plenty of additional lip on the front to keep the phone screen off a surface if you set the phone down on its screen.The fit is perfect, and the ports are a great size. I haven't had to pull the phone out of the case to get to the headphone cable for ANY of the cables I have, including right angle plugs. This is honestly a new experience for me and I love it - most cases I've had require removal to get to the headphone jack. I think this will help with the case's longevity, as constant removal of a case wears it out more quickly.For everything except backcountry use (I'll pick up a lifeproof for that) this case is more than enough protection for my use. If you tend to drop your phone often or put it in the same pocket as keys and change you might want a tougher case than this. That said I am confident this case will protect against most falls.One note - the covers for the headphone and thunderbolt ports started to annoy me so I just cut them off. No big deal, and you can't tell they were ever there. With the earpiece and mic exposed at all times anyway I don't see the point of keeping these other ports sealed up.
