Let me start by saying that I bought a new unit here but more than ten years 2400-W devices and two 1200 W blocks. These units work and regulate tension as most of us should and need. Do they support constant 120V output? No, but in North America our regular PCs, TVs, printers, VCRs, etc. are designed to operate within +/- 5% of 120 volts AC. In other words, if a nominal voltage of 114-126 volts is applied to them, they will work normally. This is exactly what Tripp Lite devices offer when the input voltage of the Tripp Lite is in the range of about 87-140V. I live in a rural area and the power lines were old and I lost several VCRs over the course of 3-4 years. After researching the issue I decided to buy a 2400w model and once I started using it I noticed how severe and how frequent the power fluctuations are. I then bought two 1200w units, one for my living room and one for my wife's bedroom, and took the 2400w unit to my room where other electronics are located. Since then I have not lost a single electronic device. Where it used to be a stretch to get out of a VCR for 1 year (some expensive too). I remember once having a power outage that caused the computer monitor to shake for a second or two and then stabilize. I usually just hear a click and if I check the LEDs on the devices they can tell if the power is high or low. I've got some better power lines now and a new home transformer, but there are still power changes that Tripp Lite picks up. I also have a 5000w portable generator that I use in case of a power outage. I have electronics set up on it and can unplug one and plug it into an extension cord from the generator outlets around my house. (Not a system designed for the main panel). I know my power requirements and can add a bulb with the new low voltage bulbs I'm using. Normally the generator is used from a few hours to a day, but there was an ice storm that required 6 days of use. Sometimes when using the generator it shows high voltage and I always use low voltage for a few seconds when my deep well pump starts. I'm glad I had them then. Whether I like them, yes my old ones are white and made in Mexico and this new one is gray and made in China. If the new one holds up as well as my old one, I'll be very satisfied. If you have something that takes +/- 1% 120V nominal working voltage, it won't work. Just reach into your wallet and buy something that works for it. I'm 69 years old and sometimes I talk a lot but I hope this helps someone and you can read the full specs for them on the Tripp Lite website or below on the Revain page.
